NEW INDICATION & DOSAGE
To provide topical local analgesia before venipuncture or peripheral intravenous cannulation when applied to intact skin in children ages 3 to 18 years--
Children 3 ages 18 years: Apply one Zingo (0.5 mg) intradermal injection using the administration device to the site of planned venipuncture or intravenous cannulation, 1 to 3 minutes before needle insertion; use on intact skin only. Perform the venipuncture or cannulation within 10 minutes of Zingo placement.
