NEW INDICATION & DOSAGE
To reduce signs and symptoms in patients with moderately to severely active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis; used as monotherapy or in combination with methotrexate--
Children ages 6 to 17 based on weight: For children weighing less than 75 kg, give 10 mg/kg as a 30 minute I.V. infusion, repeated at 2 and 4 weeks and then every 4 weeks; For children weighing 75 to 100 kg, give 750 mg as a 30 minute I.V. infusion, repeated at 2 and 4 weeks and then every 4 weeks; For children weighing more than 100 kg, give 1,000 mg as a 30 minute I.V. infusion, repeated at 2 and 4 weeks and then every 4 weeks. Maximum dosage, 1,000 mg.
